The Commodore’s Cup is an introductory regatta held annually and hosted by the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club in Kitsilano.

This regatta offers a wonderful opportunity for young sailors to learn to race against other beginners from clubs around the Lower Mainland. It also offers CANSail 4 sailors an opportunity to complete their regatta requirement. This event is a fun place for kids to make friends and meet sailors, and for parents to watch from the clubhouse.

Since 2012, BIYC has been sending sailors to compete in the Commodore’s Cup, winning medals and prizes in the Optimist, Laser and Laser II categories. Way to go BIYC sailors!

This year we hope to have our sailors compete in the Optimist, Feva and Laser fleets. Please, get in touch if you would like to volunteer to lead a BIYC L2S team.Costs will be determined based on registration interest.
