Participants must be 12 years or over, must be able to swim and must have previously completed CANSail 3. Lasers and RS Fevas.

CANSail 4 sailors are challenged to perfect their sailing skills in heavier wind conditions, both individually and in pairs. Emphasis is placed on self-sufficiency and problem solving, including skills such as rudderless sailing, trapeze and advanced theory. Typically, three to four weeks of sailing are required to complete this level. CANSail 4 is an introduction to racing and sailors must compete in a regatta. Please see the “Commodore’s Cup”.
