Want to volunteer to help out the BIYC summer sailing program? Earn high school volunteer hours? We warmly welcome volunteer sailors (minimum level CanSail 3 and minimum age 12) to help our instructors throughout the summer. Please contact us in the as soon as possible if you are interested in volunteering.

All volunteers must fill out an application, submit a letter of reference and submit a waiver completed by a parent or guardian. Volunteers are encouraged to complete Leaders in Training offered through BI Community Recreation and Standard First Aid C as well as obtain a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
