The Round Bowen Race is our most popular event. There are normally 100+ plus boats registered, and with only 1 start, makes it one of the largest single starts on the West Coast. The race involves the circumnavigation of Bowen Island and takes place on the 2nd Saturday in June. The race begins at 10:00 PDT, and the latest finishing time is 17:30 PDT same day.

All participants in this event do so at their own risk, and by completing this entry form the skipper and crew of each entered boat specifically agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Bowen Island Yacht Club, its organizers and its agents, officials, servants, sponsors, and representatives from and against all claims, actions, costs, expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss, or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused arising out of or in connection with the participation in this event, notwithstanding that the same may have been contributed to or caused or occasioned by the negligence of the same bodies, or any of them, or their agents, officials, servants or representatives. I represent to the Bowen Island Yacht Club that my vessel has liability insurance currently in effect. Skippers also agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing (latest edition), with the Sail Canada Prescriptions.
